My introduction to UX/UI Design was through native mobile apps while working at Metova, a development shop in Franklin, TN. I was the first designer hired in-house and took on all products by myself. During my time there I hired two designers and started the foundation for a true design department. 

I held discovery meetings, weekly check-ins with clients and stakeholders, and worked in an agile environment using Jira and slack for every project. I helped clients go from idea to marketplace and from one platform to another. Anything that was needed in the world of design in regards to a client’s business and product was handled by me and eventually myself and my team. It was a wonderful time.
