Over the years I have helped a handful of companies and entrepreneurs visualize their idea. Either in ideation, whiteboarding, wireframing, prototyping for funding, or delivering a beta product to market.
TRIGGER MASTER
Providing real-time analytics TriggerMaster uses real-time data points to measure barrel displacement, trigger pull force, flash sighting, and shot differential for a users’ training. The app pairs with a product that feels like an actual handgun, but does not shoot live rounds, giving the user a realistic experience while allowing them to train anywhere. I helped TriggerMaster walk through the user experience of early versions of their app, so developers could code a rough prototype to pair with the gun. The most important thing in the early development of TriggerMaster was the relay of information from the product to the app and ease of usability. Style, treatment, and branding came later.
**I feel it’s worth noting that I’m not sure if I would work on an app for a gun these days. It’s a complex issue, but I do have my concerns about gun laws, and I would have to consider how I feel about this product and its place in the market and how it could influence users positively or negatively given current gun regulations.
TIPSHOW
TipShow wanted to pitch an app idea to the Nashville Tourism and Convention Commission that allowed users to find local shows, follow their favorite bands, and most importantly tip easily. I helped bring an initial concept to life to display key features and usability. If funded or approved this app would then go through all the steps of research and proof of concept. I also provided the logo and initial branding style for their pitch.
CREATIVEMORNINGS
CreativeMornings global wanted to think through a Bingo app that would engage audiences at their events. I helped create the first iteration of the idea visually while pointing out actions a user would want to take. This iteration allowed a conversation to start about full usability and gave a starting place for future milestones.
