While interning at NSAI, I was commissioned to refresh the logo for The Bluebird Cafe, one of Nashville's most iconic music venues. The Bluebird has launched the careers of artists including Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban, and draws over 70,000 visitors annually through coverage in publications like The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, and Southwest Spirit.
The project required balancing reverence for a beloved institution with the need for a mark that could hold up across modern applications, from signage and merchandise to digital and print.
